Hello friends, this fundraiser is to help Emily Grace Fredricksen's mother Barbara give her a proper memorial. Emily Grace was only 18 years old when she passed away very suddenly on April 11th 2022 from very rare, sudden onset acute leukemia.

On Saturday, April 9th Emily Grace woke up feeling nauseous, vomiting, confused, with unexplained bruises and very lethargic. Her mother Barbara called an ambulance and Emily Grace was taken to the hospital. A catscan found multiple masses on her brain and the hospital knew she needed more tests run, that they were incapable of performing. So Emily Grace was sedated and intubated and put on a life flight helicopter to another hospital. Upon arrival, multiple tests were run for the next 24 hours and bleeding and swelling of the brain was found and sudden onset acute leukemia was diagnosed. Emily Grace had no brain activity and was not able to breathe on her own and her mother Barbara was faced with the fact that her baby was gone in the blink of an eye.  Barbara was not prepared emotionally,  nevermind finacially for this and had been preparing for Emily Grace's graduation from high school ceremony, which is just weeks away.  With Emily Grace having been on the Autism Spectrum, graduating was quite an accomplishment and deserving of celebration. Instead her mother Barbara is now planning a celebration of Emily Grace's life and she needs our help.
