On Tuesday night May 16th, we lost a beautiful soul with the sudden passing of Emily Galiano due to a tragic accident and words can’t describe the pain that comes with the loss of a child, especially one taken too soon. Emily was an intelligent, talented, sweet and very gifted athlete that loved to share her life with anyone willing to listen. More importantly she was a Daughter, a Sister and friend to many.

Over the past several days, friends, family, neighbors, co-workers and the entire Forney community have been filled with compassionate spirit and the outpouring of gestures has been overwhelming. Many of you have asked how you can help. On behalf of the Galiano family we ask for your help in raising funds to help offset funeral and personal related expenses. These expenses, as we know, should be the last worry on their mind, in this time of sorrow.

Any and all excess funds given as part of this campaign will be given to the memorial scholarship being established in Emily’s name in conjunction with the Forney Jackrabbit softball team.
