When Emily was well, she and Avery were inseparable. They went to the park, the Children's Museum, to church, and all sorts of other fun, educational places. At home they made crafts and practiced ABC's and numbers and colors and sign language. They created amazing artwork. They loved being together. Emily was a wonderful mom, and Avery was a happy, friendly, smart little girl.

Once Emily's disease took over her life, she tried so hard to continue being a great mom, but the disease wouldn't let her. She put on a brave face for Avery, but was slowly disappearing into a world of dark sadness.

Emily passed away on September 15, 2023. We are all devastated, but we know she is finally at peace.

We have created this account as a way for people to help Avery. All donations will go directly towards her future needs. We know that nothing can ever replace her mommy, but we will do the best we can to make sure that she grows up happy and loved.
