Helping Emily “Emmy” Davila recover.

Hello, I’m Valarie and I am organizing this fundraiser for my Aunt, Emily. On 12/30/2023 she was taken to the hospital and has been there recovering since. My aunt has suffered 3 strokes and needs to relearn to swallow and walk. She also has an aneurism in her brain. Because of this, she is unable to work. She is her family’s matriarch and backbone, the effects of her illness has rippled through the family and is causing great financial distress. With that said, it is with the most humblest heart I ask for help in assisting her through this difficult time. Her rent, bills, medications and supplies to accommodate her new normal are adding up quickly. To bring her home while being able to help ease her finances would be a blessing. My Aunt Emily is a proud strong woman who has always worked hard and provided for her family surrounded in an environment of those who take the easy way out. She has raised her children and grandchildren setting an example of love, family and responsibility. Aunt Emily is a very private and independent person who never asks anything from anyone. Rather, she is giving, loving and understanding. It is my hope that everyone will come together and remind my aunt that she is loved and her village is here to support her.
