Emily Bodfish - Everything is Fine

You have found your way here because you now know that I’ve been diagnosed with Breast Cancer.  I found a lump in early March, in under 2 weeks KU Med (which has been amazing) moved me through multiple appointments including a biopsy to determine that I have Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, which I’m told is a pretty common “run of the mill” cancer.  I’m also assured that this is 100% treatable and 100% curable. I will undergo surgery on April 13 with a 4-6 week recover period.
