Emily Beliveau's Liver Day #20 Celebration Party

Turks, All,

This is a request for you to support Emily Beliveau's Liver Day #20 Party on April 8th, 2023; A celebration of Emily's 20 years of living with her new liver.

More than 20 years ago, Emily and the Beliveau's went through a terrifying and exhaustive experience of getting a sick 10 year old girl a new liver. Miraculously, and with a lot of medical support and prayers, it happened. Emily is now throwing a party to celebrate these last 20 years, her new lease on life.

This fundraiser effort is specifically to raise money to hire a 5 piece band from New Jersey called 'The Characters". Apparently, they are a Gen2 favorite.

The band cost is $2,500 but I am budgeting $3,000 to cover additional related fees. Any leftover money will go to Emily and her putting together this party.

For the time being, I have copied only The Gen1 Turks on this GoFundMe effort in hopes that we, The Turks, can gift to Emily this band of her choice; a way of showing the Turk family support of Emily. ((Note: if we can't raise the $3,000 I would then open this up to others. ))

Emily's Liver Day #20 party is April 8th, at The Hartford Saengerbund German Club, 719 North Mountain Road, Newington CT. 06111. 6PM.

It is shaping up to be quite the party, > 100 as of now.
