On October 3rd, we lost two beloved fellow aviators, Michele Cavallotti and Barrett Bevacqua in an airplane accident in Newberg, OR. There was also another student on board, Emily Hurd, who was seriously injured in the accident and remains in the hospital.

Hillsboro Aero Academy is working closely with the families to assist them during this extremely difficult time. After talking with the families, HAA took the lead on creating a GoFundMe account for all of the victims. The hope is that through this GoFundMe we can provide additional financial support to Emily, Barrett's family, and Michele's family.
