My name is Emily Runco and my boyfriend Ponce Garcia and I live together in an apartment in Petaluma with my sister Hailey and her fiancé Rey. Last night while I was asleep at midnight my boyfriend was up late and noticed a red shadow outside my window. He quickly realized the whole front of our apartment was on fire. He woke us all up just in time because by the time we even opened the front door the fire was in our face and burning the whole front railing and floor of our apartment. We barely even had time to get shoes on. All we could do at that point is put our arms across our faces and run through the fire to get downstairs. The fire spread and was so strong it burned the floor of our apartment and effected my room the most. Unfortunately my boyfriend and I lost most of our clothes, shoes, and more. I lost all of my bed, vanity, and my brand new dresser. Pretty much everything in my room. Anything can help so my boyfriend and I can get back on track.
