Emily&Annie’s half marathon for The Stroke Association ♀️

We are raising money in aid of a charity close to our hearts. In 2016 Emily’s step-dad Ivan, suffered from a stroke caused by a skiing accident. It was a really tough time for the family, however luckily Ivan made a full recovery and has continued to live life and enjoy each day. The Stroke Association charity aims to prevent strokes and achieve life after stroke through providing services, campaigning, education and research.

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives. On average around 100,000 people a year suffer from having a stroke, and although we can’t personally change this we want to help to try.

Alone we can do so little, but with your donations we can do so much more. So we please ask that you donate what you can and support us in our journey to support those who need it more

And always remember to ACT-FAST
