My dear friend Emily and her husband Larry lost their home of 38 years in the CZU Lightning fires, which continue to burn in the Santa Cruz Mountains and have devastated the community. Those who have had the privilege of visiting them in Boulder Creek know Emily and Larry are most gracious hosts, and we all have such fond memories of their beautiful home and spectacular gardens.
As with all who were required to evacuate with very little notice, they were able to gather so few belongings and personal treasures. And like so many others, Emily and Larry are starting over and need everything to reestablish their home; shopping for everything from the most basic of necessities to the very comforts we take for granted each day.
All donations will go directly to Emily and Larry.
