Emilio's Road To Recovery

A mothers worst nightmare has hit close to home … our sweet dear friend Maria Carranza is currently living through it. Maria’s 15 year old son Emilio was celebrating the 4th of July holiday lighting fireworks with his family when he was tragically involved in a hit and run. The driver struck Emilio and caused severe life threatening injuries. Emilio’s normal teen life changed in an instant. He is currently fighting a difficult recovery at UMC in the ICU. Emilio, Maria and her family are suffering through a great amount of pain. Emilio is a bright kid with a positive view on life. He always finds a way to make his family laugh. He takes every opportunity that is given to learn something new. Emilio is fighting very hard to recover from the severe injuries caused by the hit and run.
