Our friend Emilio Gonzalez was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2013. This condition makes his bones brittle and very weak. He has broken his femur and now has a metal rod inside it. Doctors recently conducted radiation therapy to his spinal column that caused a temporary issue with his spine. He has no feeling from his chest down. He therefore does not have the ability to walk at this time. He being and artist, not being able to write or hold a pen is very difficult for him. Emilio has been stuck in a medical facilty for over 2 months. Although his strength is improving, this is keeping him from being able to work. Bills are piling up and he needs our help.
Emilio is fiercely independent and would never ask for help.
So I will ask for him.....
