Our friend and community member, Emilio Jon, was riding his bike at Burning Man this year, on his way to service his sound system and see a close friend spin.  Someone had left a public Green bike in the road (they unfortunately are not lit) and he hit it, causing him to take a nasty spill.  His leg was fractured in multiple places, and will require extensive surgery and rehab to get him back on his feet.  While he has some insurance, it's limited and the injury occurred out of coverage.  Now he's got some medical bills to cover and life expenses to deal with.  Here's hoping we can all chip in a bit to help Emilio out. 


Emilio came aboard the ChinoSound team last year, and has since become an invaluable member of the squad.  His ability to climb into small areas and high places have been a game-changer. We want to see him get back to his old self as soon as possible, in time for festival season, so we can see him down at Leyenda Eterna, Lightning In a Bottle, and Genius Loci all over again (not to mention his own sound business EJG Audio, which has be picking up as well).
