Emilie is getting her boobs back !!

After waiting two long years, the time has come to get my reconstruction surgeries started !! While extremely exciting, there is a lot of moving parts and help is needed !!

Since my skin was damaged by radiation treatment, I will be getting a latissimus dorsi flap, which means they are going to reconstruct my breast with some tissue from my back. It's a long procedure, but I feel ready to take this next part of my journey.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to help with the cost of a new chair that I will likely be sleeping in for a good month, medications, a homecare worker, and any unexpected costs related to this surgery. I will need to be off work for a minimum of 3 months, and I would love not to worry financially.
