Hi, I’m Lucía.

My partner and I are renovating what will be our future home — the place where we hope to start our family and where we live with our cats. It’s a project we’ve been dreaming about for a long time, saving for, and working on step by step to make it real.

We’ve already paid €40,000 for the first phase of the renovation, covering the initial structural work. We’ve invested all our savings and absolutely everything we could. But we still need another €40,000 to complete the renovation — and without this final part, we simply won’t be able to live there.

We’re doing a major renovation: adapting the house and improving the structure so it can be a safe, comfortable, and long-lasting home. Even after putting in everything we had, we’ve fallen short on our budget.

It’s the last stretch, but it’s also the hardest one for us.

We’ve tried every possible option — extra work hours, cutting our expenses to the minimum… but it’s still not enough. That’s why we’re turning to GoFundMe, a bit embarrassed, but also full of hope that we can complete this dream.

Any help, even the smallest amount, brings us one step closer to our home.

The funds will be used for:

Finishing the structure and removing the asbestos roofing (uralita).

Closing and insulating the house.

Improving basic installations (electricity, plumbing, etc.).

Essential finishes so we can move in.

Installing a kitchen.
