Yesterday, one of our employees at WVE, Steve Taylor, had his son, Emery, rushed to the hospital after being found unresponsive. He was admitted to Salem Health where he was discovered to have a brain bleed. He was life-flighted to OHSU and rushed immediately into surgery. The doctors were able to coil the brain aneurysm with hopes of it not rupturing again. Emery is out of surgery and stable. He is beginning to recover but will need to be continually monitored at OHSU for the next two weeks. Due to this incident's severe trauma and stress, we would like to help remove as much financial burden as possible for Steve and his family.
