Hey! Thanks for clicking on this link. My name is Allie and I am currently trying to help secure funds to help my nephew be placed in my brothers home.

My sweet nephew, Emersyn, is 7 years old and without a doubt the sweetest boy. He’s a good big brother to his siblings and the biggest daddy’s boy.

Recently, Emersyn’s mom began dating a man who has a record of domestic violence and has been known to be a physical harm to people. This now includes my nephew.

Early last week my brother received a call from my nephews maternal grandmother saying that she was in fear for emersyns safety. It turns out that emersyn had mysteriously broken his ankle and recently been in the hospital for falling down the stairs. It also came to light that CPS had opened a case due to his mom picking emersyn up hours late after school or boys and girls club. My brother was unaware of these things going on because for the last 6 weeks, she denied him his rights to see his son. Like she has been doing for a great portion of his life.

Emersyn is now in the care of my brother because his grandmother removed him from the house while his mom fled to Tennessee just leaving Emersyn behind. His mom has come back and is back with her boyfriend.

Emersyn has recently opened up about what has been happening in the home.

He admitted that he didn’t break his ankle jumping off a snow bank like they told the doctors, his moms boyfriend did it. He also said that his fall down the stairs was because his moms boyfriend kicked him down them. He states that he has been locked in closets, duck tapped to beds, and hit with his mom’s horse whip.

Emersyn is terrified to go back to his mothers house. He begs my brother not to make him. It’s heartbreaking.

My brother can’t afford to hire an attorney and he seems to get screwed every time they go to court because of it. He works as a finisher for a local concrete company and his fiancé is a CNA. They have three kids in total and he pays an outrageous amount in child support which has made it very difficult to afford the help he needs.

On top of all of this Emersyns mother lost custody of her other son only a couple months ago because of similar reasons. So, why did they leave him in his mothers care yet.

Im reaching out on this platform for my brother because it can be difficult to ask for financial help. If I had the money I would give it all to him. Court costs are expensive and this will likely be a long road for him. Any amount to put towards a lawyer would be helpful. And if not a financial contribution to the cause, maybe a prayer or an extra thought for my nephew.

We’re all terrified that if he goes back to their care that we’ll get the dreaded phone call on day.
