On February 22, the world lost a wonderful mother, wife, and friend. Blaire Irwin Emerson was just 27 years old and 35 weeks pregnant with her second child when she suffered a sudden heart attack that took her life and the life of her unborn son.
We will always remember Blaire's intelligence, strength, and kindness. She and her husband, Will, shared a passion for social justice and a fierce desire to make the world a better place, something Will continues to share with their beloved three-year-old daughter, Rowan.
