Emerlyn Lee

On Thursday, October 5, 2023, my niece Emerlyn Lee passed away suddenly in her sleep from a seizure. She was only 15 years old. Some may not know her precious story but she was born with a condition called Fragile X Syndrome. This syndrome caused her to have numerous seizures daily since the age of 3. Between the ages of 3-15 she endured so much during her short time with us - constant doctor and hospital visits, therapy, and medications. Due to her condition, her parents were unable to provide her with the necessary insurance coverage to help with funeral costs. We lost such a precious and pure soul that was only with us for 15 years. She was surrounded by so many that loved and cherished her. Once you meet her you will never forget her face and who she is. She loved smiling, taking walks, giving hugs, and eating. We know she is no longer struggling and in heaven with our loved ones.
