Emeri's Journey

On January 3rd, 2018, our family received the unthinkable news. Our precious little granddaughter Emeri, who will be turning 4 on January 26th was diagnosed with leukemia. What we thought was meerly the flu drastically changed when she was taken to the Childrens Hospital ER. The doctor decided to run some blood tests. Immediately after the results were in, the doctor gave our daughter Courtney and son in law Patrick news no parent ever imagines hearing... their beautiful daughter has leukemia and will be facing a very long and difficult journey with many ups and downs. Emeri has already endured numerous needle pricks, transfusions, blood tests, exrays and is now receiving chemotherapy. A very scary time for all, especially this precious little girl and her amazing parents. We are wanting to help them deal with the financial burden that they will face, but know we can not do it alone. If you can find it in your heart to contribute to this fund, even if it is a little and share our story with your friends, it would be grately appreciated.
