Emergenza allagamento rifugio post dana Spagna

(english versión below) Pensavamo di esser usciti illesi dalla bufera Dana ma ci ha colto all'improvviso il giorno dopo aver fatto vittime poco più a sud.

In poche ore si sono riversate migliaia di litri di pioggia con una violenza pazzesca e sotto una tormenta elettrica spaventosa.

Le immagini e i video parlano da soli, le strade di accesso erano bloccate da fiumi di fango e man mano che passavano i minuti più saliva il livello anche nei recinti, poi la grandine, il forte vento.

L'acqua ha raggiunto anche i cani in casa e abbiamo dovuto fare delle barriere per evitare il peggio.

Siamo da due giorni senza corrente elettrica, il nostro impianto solare è bruciato dalla tormenta di fulmini e stiamo andando avanti con un piccolo generatore che ovviamente non può stare acceso sempre.

Abbiamo bisogno al più presto di ripristinare la corrente ricomprando i pezzi rotti, solo questo prevede una spesa di circa 1000 euro.

L'altro grosso danno poi è stata la massa d'acqua che scorrendo ha portato via gran parte della strada per scendere in rifugio, una cascata di detriti e fango che ora è 100 metri sotto al rifugio e ha reso impraticabile la strada.

Dobbiamo poi fare assolutamente dei lavori per arginare un altro possibile allargamento, portare materiale come ghiaia e compattante e fare dei canali di scolo per evitare che entri acqua nelle casette.

Non sappiamo quantificare quanto ci servirà perché sarebbero tanti i possibili lavori da fare, quindi abbiamo deciso di mettere una cifra ed eseguire i lavori pian pian che sappiamo quanta disponibilità abbiamo. Diamo ovviamente priorità alla corrente elettrica.

We thought we had escaped unscathed from the Dana storm but it suddenly struck us the day after it had claimed victims a little further south.

In just a few hours, thousands of liters of rain poured down with insane violence and under a terrifying electrical storm.

The images and videos speak for themselves, the access roads were blocked by rivers of mud and as the minutes passed the level rose even in the fences, then the hail, the strong wind.

The water even reached the dogs in the house and we had to put up barriers to avoid the worst.

We have been without electricity for two days, our solar system burned out by the lightning storm and we are getting by with a small generator that obviously cannot stay on all the time.

We need to restore the electricity as soon as possible by buying the broken pieces, this alone will cost around 1000 euros.

The other big damage was the mass of water that, flowing, took away a large part of the road to go down to the refuge, a cascade of debris and mud that is now 100 meters below the refuge and has made the road impassable.

We then absolutely have to do some work to stem another possible widening, bring material such as gravel and compactor and make drainage channels to prevent water from entering the houses.

We don't know how much we will need because there are so many possible jobs to do, so we decided to put a figure and carry out the work little by little, knowing how much we have available. We obviously give priority to electricity.
