I never thought I would have to do this or be in this kind of situation. At the end of November my family had to start moving quickly due to the owner selling the property. A person that we thought was a friend offered to help and seemed at the time he did. We moved into an apartment in the middle of December that was close to my work but found out it was not in our name and we would be basically subleasing it. We ensured to pay for rent every paycheck every month and covered the bills as well. This past Tues 05/16/23 at 10am we got a message from him telling us that the apartment building was evicting us and we had till 5pm to be out. He also reassured is that he had somewhere for us to go and movers on the way. We packed up everything and separated everything so we had stuff that needed to go to storage and had stuff to go with us. At 4pm the movers came and started moving stuff out but come to find out first that everything was going into storage and could only keep a small amount with us, and second didn't go to our storage but his. All of my clothes was moved first so I am now with out clothes except my one work outfit I was in. Some of ken's meds that he needs was in there as well. To Make matters worse the place he was sending us to was for 2 days and we couldn't access it at that. We slept the first night on the empty apartment floor. We are now in a hotel until Friday morning. Our wonderful church has helped to ensure we have enough money to get us through the weekend and we are so grateful. We just don't have the means to start over again right now. Living paycheck to paycheck since December has left me without any kind of nest egg at all for this. We need help. I have been on the phone trying to find resources to help and have family that lives in other states trying to find resources for us. Any help is appreciated and we are grateful for everything. We are just so brokenhearted right now and beyond stressed and upset. Thank you all for your love and support and just know that we love you all.
