Due to the sudden surge, the cases and deaths have been increasing astronomically. Patients that could be saved are dying due to a lack of Oxygen.
We need your support to procure Oxygen Concentrators in this medical emergency.
Ekam has received requests from hospitals all across India for Oxygen Concentrators and other essentials like PPE. Due to lack of funds and lack of availability in India, we are obtaining from overseas vendors, for about $950 per each Concentrator.
We need to pay the vendors ASAP to confirm the availability during this crisis, as everyone is looking for them.
We need to order them ASAP to be able to obtain the delivery of Concentrators within 1-2 weeks at the earliest. TIME IS OF ESSENCE to procure funds and place orders.
We have requests from hospitals from several states, including
- Delhi, including AIIMS, with a need of 100 Concentratos
- Pune- Aundh Civic Hospital - need of 25 Concentrators
- Mumbai
- Telangana, Gandhi Hospital
- Chattisgarh- Dedicated COVID hospital, Rajnandgaon- need of 20 Concentrators
- Tamil Nadu, Chengalpettu Medical College
and hospitals from several other states.
We also have requests from hospitals for PPE and medical equipment (please see below for a list)
We have already lost friends, family members, and health care workers including doctors and nurses during the second wave with more virulence and mortality.
Ekam USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization completely run by volunteers, with no staff/ salary costs.

Hospital equipment requirements submitted to Ekam:
1. LTMG Hospital, Mumbai, Maharashtra- Ventilator request for 20, each ventilator is approx $14000 (total about $270,000) plus, other equipment- approx $432,000
2. Grant Government Medical College, Maharashtra- N-95 masks, PPE kits, sanitizer- approx. $35000
3. ICH Chennai, Tamil Nadu equipment - Gloves, N-95 masks, High Flow Oxygen Nasal Cannula, about $15,000 total approx.
4. RSRM hospital, Chennai, Tamil Nadu- Disposable aprons/ surgical pads/ mattresses, Gusier- approx. 10,700
