Helping Lebanese Families: Food, Medicine & More
The economic crisis in Lebanon keeps getting worse by the day. People have lost everything due to many different traumatic events that have occurred in the past couple years, such as the revolution and the Beirut port explosion, which have all lead to the fast deterioration of the country. It has been declared that the people in Lebanon are currently living through severe poverty and hunger, with no clear return from this situation.
Lebanese people have lost access to food, medical help, electricity, fuel, as well as every possible basic life amenity you could think of. Pharmacies and hospitals struggle to offer people with their important and urgent medical needs, children no longer have access to milk, gas stations struggle to offer people with enough gas, bakeries struggle to offer enough bread, and those are just a few examples. To top it all, the big shortages in Lebanon have caused severe mental distress due to parents not being able to provide for their families, and the trauma that had accumulated over the years.
The Lebanese currency has faced one of the highest inflation rates in the WORLD, which means that even IF all the necessities were to be available in Lebanon, people have no money to even get what they need.
As a Lebanese person myself, I not only feel helpless, but my heart is breaking for my country. If you would like to help, please donate, and if you can’t then please share this so it reaches someone who can.
100% of the proceeds will go DIRECTLY to Lebanese people. Not to organisations, not to any untrustworthy distributors, not to anyone or anything who will profit from the proceeds for themselves instead of the people in need. I will be personally using the money raised to buy and gather all the necessities, medical needs, food, and anything they might need. I will be hand-delivering everything to families and persons in need, ensuring that the help reaches them directly.
Thank you.
