A Brentano parent was detained, and urgent help is needed to support him and his family.

The father of a Brentano student was detained by immigration officials last week and is now separated from his family in a detention center in Kentucky. This is a Brentano family who has been part of our community and neighborhood for years. There is a child in our school now praying for his father to come home.

The family needs help. For now, that help is financial. We are raising funds to cover a bond payment, legal fees, and other emergency expenses this has caused. We do not yet know the total amount, but it will likely be thousands of dollars.

We're asking Brentano parents and community members to help build an emergency fund for this family. Any amount you can donate will be helpful. The funds go directly to the family.
