Financial Help For My Sister, Lynette Carter

I am reaching out on behalf of my sister, Lynette Carter. I am sorry that this is so lengthy, but I feel it’s important to give a full explanation about what she has gone through since Nov.

A week before Thanksgiving, she suffered a rare heart attack called a SCAD Heart Attack(Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection). During her heart catheterization, they found a tear that they believe was the cause of her heart attack. Unfortunately, due to the tear’s location, they were unable to repair it surgically.

After a full body scan, she was also diagnosed with Fibromuscular Dysplasia, which is the narrowing of the arteries. 

She attempted to return to work by doing light grooming, but she ended up back in the Heart Center for a week.

During her stay they performed a nuclear stress test that showed myocardial infarction (heart attack) which led them to do another heart Catheterization. They are unsure if she had another heart attack or if it is residual from her heart attack in November.

Her treatment plan is cardiac rehab, walking, resting and taking multiple medications to help it heal naturally. She had to have an immunity infusion because she keeps getting sick due to her weakened immune system.

The purpose for this fundraiser is to help with her personal “past due” bills such as her mortgage and utilities, medical bills, as well as rent and utilities for her business.

She is the owner of a grooming and boarding business and is overwhelmed with the loss of revenue due to her absence.

Any amount can help her tremendously. She is a very independent woman and hates that she can’t do what she is wired to do. So asking for donations has been very difficult for her.

It takes a village to keep her from overdoing it. But in order to fully heal the tear, she must do as much as she can to reduce her stress level (SCAD can be caused by extreme stress). She wants to return to work as soon as she is able to do safely. She misses it tremendously due to her love for her clients and their precious fur babies.
