My cat Nala is not just a pet — she is part of my family. I’m a single parent to three children, and we all love her deeply. Nala is only 2 and a half years old and has always been a sweet, gentle girl who brings comfort and happiness to our home.
A few weeks ago, Nala started vomiting, so I took her to the vet immediately. They told us it was her pancreas and put her on steroids and a special diet. We followed everything exactly as they instructed.
Then Nala suddenly began struggling to breathe, and I had to rush her to the emergency vet. The bills were extremely high, but I didn’t hesitate — my kids were terrified and crying, and I couldn’t let Nala suffer. Since then, she has needed ongoing tests and monitoring. The costs keep growing, and it feels like there is always another scan or medication needed.
I have reached a point where I can’t afford the next steps on my own. The money raised will go directly toward her X-ray and scan, so the vets can find out exactly what is wrong and how to treat her properly. We just want to give her a fighting chance.
My children and I are heartbroken, but we are hopeful. Nala is young and she is fighting. If you are able to help — even by sharing this — it would mean the world to us.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for caring about our Nala.
