During winter, many families with children in the St. Louis region face the brutal cold without shelter. Most emergency shelters will not accept children, leaving many families with nowhere to go.

InExcelsis, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, helps fill this void through our Winter Safe Haven Program. Winter Safe Haven assists families with children by providing warmth, dignity, and safety when overnight lows reach critically life-threatening temperatures.

Each winter, InExcelsis spends $40,000 providing emergency shelter, food, transportation, and other necessities. This program is growing, and we need your support.

When you support Winter Safe Haven, your donation will help us:

✔ Place families in a safe, budget-friendly motel room through our gracious hotel/motel partners. The average cost per person is about $25 per night.

✔ Provide warm meals and necessities

✔ Assist with missing documents and job searches

✔ Bring in educators and volunteers for children’s activities

✔ Offer dignity, friendship, and support to help families rebuild their lives
