Emergency water tank for Cyprus wildfire reforestation site
Since 2022, the water supply to our wildfire reforestation site in Arakapas, Cyprus, has been kindly supplied to us by our nearest villager, who owns a small house and orchard nearby. After three years, he can no longer offer us water to keep our young trees alive, so now we are facing a fast-approaching summer with no irrigation, meaning our trees will almost certainly perish. The Arakapas Community Council has offered to allow us to place a water tank at the top of the hillside that they will kindly refill for us every few months, but we need to raise the funds to pay for the tank and its delivery to the site.
€1500 (£1280) = 10,000L Water Tank & Delivery (Inc VAT)
€23.50 (£20) = Hose adaptor and connector
Any additional funds above the €1500 will go towards the planting of new trees in Autumn 2025 until Spring 2026
