Emergency Veterinary Care Needed Now!
Tax deductible
Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Navasota, Texas. Our mission is to provide exceptional lifelong sanctuary to non-releasable wolves and wolfdogs, while sharing a message of education and conservation.
As the SFWS pack grows older under our compassionate care, it's anticipated that health related issues will appear in our more senior animals. This past month during veterinary check-ups, two of our older animals, Lapua and Meeko, were diagnosed with malignant sarcomas that need to be immediately removed to ensure their future good health. As you can imagine, all of us at SFWS were alarmed and saddened by these daunting diagnoses, yet we're dedicated to providing them with the BEST veterinary care possible to ensure their long lives ahead. This includes engaging a board certified surgeon, as well as a separate board certified anesthesiologist to perform the needed surgical procedures safely and to monitor post-operative care. In addition, one of our youngest pack members, Beau, will be neutered safely while the surgeon and anesthesiologist are on site. This common surgical procedure will protect Beau and allow for him to begin the bonding process with his new enclosure mate, our newest wolf rescue, Skye!
As these unanticipated veterinary care procedures coincide, we are experiencing a significant burden to our operating budget in order to cover the veterinary care costs. A burden that we need you to help the sanctuary carry and successfully recover from. That's why we've developed this GoFundMe campaign. We're asking you, our loyal supporters and donors, to help us fund these essential surgical procedures and recovery costs for our pack's continued good health, harmony, and happiness. By making a donation to this caring cause, you will be assuring that Meeko, Lapua, and Beau can continue to THRIVE in 2025 and beyond. Please donate today and know that you have our biggest howl of gratitude!
All the best always,
Nicole Rogers, President and Executive Director
