EMERGENCY VETERINARY CARE FOR PIDGEON

Donation protected
Hey everybody, it's your ol' pal Mitch, and I hate asking for help. Unfortunately this is one of those situations where I am going to have to eat my pride.

If you know me, you probably know my cat Pidgeon, and how much he means to me. My son-boy, my little cream faced business man, owner of all the railroads, the fluffiest chest in the west, buppis my puppis.

The last few years have been incredibly difficult, broken legs, heartbreak, moving twice, family matters, depression and anxiety. He has been there to cheer me up and motivate me when I was feeling down, and I'm frankly not sure I'd be here now if it weren't for him.

He recently started showing signs of illness on April 26th. Vomiting, not eating, struggling to use the litter box. I took him into the vet 2 days ago, and after 1500 plus to cover a physical exam, urinary diagnosis, and subcontantious fluids, they were unable to determine the cause of his illness, as I couldn't afford to have the blood work or X-rays done.

Since then, his health hasn't improved. He won't eat or drink, and hasn't pooped or peed in several days. These symptoms are a potential sign of liver failure or an obstruction in the digestive tract.

I've been keeping him going with plastic syringe feeding and hydration, but that will only be sufficient for so long. I need to be able to take him back to the Vet as soon as possible if I want to save the thing in the world that means the most to me. Unfortunately it's bills o'clock and I will barely be able to afford everything with the previous vet visit included, and I have been missing work to monitor him at home.

After speaking with multiple vets in the area, the bill will likely be 3000-3500 dollars. While it would be amazing to raise that much, it seems an unreasonable ask. I've started the set goal at 1600, and absolutely anything helps.

Please PLEASE PLEASE help me bring my precious Pidgeon back from the brink. I don't know how long it can wait.

As a Handyman, artist, and general laborer, I can offer a variety of services for donors. Something around the house broken? Got something heavy that needs moving? Do you need some yard work done? Maybe you want a watercolor of your own precious pet? A hand made knife just for you? Crafty jewelry? Anything I can do to pay back the people who are willing to donate. Make a request with your donation.
