This is Macaroon. Macaroon is a rescued racing pigeon that landed in my yard and became my best friend for life. She's brightened my life in a way I never thought a pigeon could.

Today, I noticed she was acting sluggish. I realized she hadn't laid her second egg and it's been over 48 hours. I rushed her to the emergency vet in Gainesville and I was told the costs would be well over 2.3k.

I can cover a total of 1.2k. It would knock my savings and checking completely dry, but I will do what I have to for my baby. I get paid next Friday, which makes things difficult. ANY funds that are left will be donated to paleo groups and other gofundmes. As this money was given for my bird and deserves to be given to other sick birds who need it too!
