Hi everyone, we are Kelly’s best friends and we’re organizing this GoFundMe for an extremely high and unexpected vet bill for her mini greyhound/chihuahua soulmate mutt, Louie.

Kelly took Louie to Deerfield Emergency on Sunday when she noticed he was having trouble breathing, and they sent him to Pieper Memorial in Middletown, CT to treat him for pneumonia. He has been there for 5 days on IV antibiotics, oxygen, and a feeding tube.

Louie’s future is uncertain, but the cost of the unexpected medical stay is not. Our hearts hurt for the financial strain and emotional trauma this has on our best friend. If you have a pet, you know there is nothing quite like the bond you have with your first “fur child.” As dog moms ourselves, this is the best way we thought we could help.
