Hello I'm Laura I’m asking for help or advice regarding my cats. I previously posted a video of my baby Lilith drooling and not doing well. My baby Flower is also not doing well, and I added a photo of her nose. She is struggling to breathe. Their mom, Pheobe, also developed an infection at her spay site.
I rescued Pheobe in 2021/2022 from the streets and didn’t know she was pregnant at the time. I kept her and cared for her and her kittens. She had 5 babies, and I was able to rehome two, but I kept the three girls because no one wanted them. They have always been indoor cats and have never been sick before.
Last week, on Monday and Tuesday, I took them to The Paw Mission in Fontana, CA to be spayed. I finally had the money and wanted to do the responsible thing. I followed all instructions and put recovery suits on them. Shortly after, I noticed they were becoming sick instead of improving. Pheobe’s spay site became infected. Flower developed something on her nose and now has trouble breathing. Lilith has also been drooling and is not doing well.
I have been very careful with them and gentle, and I don’t understand why this is happening. I don’t have the funds for an emergency vet, and I don’t have credit to apply for loans. They mean everything to me, and I’ve done my best to keep them safe, healthy, and loved.
I’m asking if anyone has advice, resources, or can point me in the right direction. I included receipts on TikTok for transparency and covered my personal information for privacy. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please hug your fur babies extra tight.
