I’m reaching out on behalf of my sister and her sweet cat, Zelda, who is currently fighting for her life in the emergency veterinary hospital after a tragic accident.

Today, Zelda ingested part of a lily plant-something that is extremely toxic to cats. Within hours, she became gravely ill. We rushed her to the emergency vet, where she was immediately admitted for intensive treatment. The prognosis is still uncertain, and Zelda remains in critical condition.

Zelda is family to us. She’s been a source of comfort, companionship, and joy for my sister through some of the hardest moments of her life. Her quirky personality and big, expressive eyes have made her deeply loved by everyone who meets her.

The cost of emergency veterinary care is overwhelming. Between overnight hospitalization, IV fluids, bloodwork, and constant monitoring, the bills are adding up — currently estimated at $3,000. My sister is doing everything she can, but she needs help to give Zelda a fighting chance.
