Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out for help with my sweet pit bull, Rocko. He’s only 4 years old, full of life, and has the goofiest, most loving personality. He’s the kind of dog that makes you laugh on your worst days. My sweet boy I love him dearly.

Lately, though, Rocko hasn’t been himself. He’s been peeing blood, clearly in pain, and struggling to stay comfortable. After taking him to the vet, we got the heartbreaking news kidney stones. He will be undergoing surgery today. It’s serious, and he needs treatment, medication, and a special diet to recover safely.

His care is estimated to cost around $3,000, which includes diagnostics, ongoing vet visits, medication, and potential surgery. It’s a lot, and more than I can manage on my own.

Rocko isn’t just a dog he’s family. Watching him suffer is incredibly painful, but I believe with the right care, he can bounce back and go back to being the silly, happy pup we all love.
