Help Save Killua – Our Brave Boy Fighting to Breathe
We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your help in saving our beloved cat, Killua.
Killua has always been a bright light in our home—playful, gentle, and full of love. But over the past couple of weeks, he’s been battling a severe respiratory infection that has left him struggling to breathe, barely eating, and in visible pain.
We’ve already spent over £1200 on vet visits and treatment, desperate to get him the help he needs. Our previous vet charged nearly £800 in just three days, but Killua showed no improvement, and we were left emotionally and financially drained. With no clear answers and Killua still suffering, we made the tough decision to seek help from a different vet.
Today, the new vet started him on antibiotics and painkillers, but they’ve also told us that Killua needs further testing. They’ve recommended a viral test, and if he doesn’t begin eating again soon, they may need to do a biopsy to rule out something more serious. Each visit is costing £400–£500, and while we are doing everything we can, we’ve run out of savings and options. Now, things have taken an even more urgent turn: Killua hasn’t eaten in 5 days. He’s growing weaker by the day, and the vet has strongly recommended hospitalising him immediately. But the cost of hospital care is far beyond what we can afford, and we’re terrified of losing him—not because he can’t be treated, but because we simply can’t afford it.
Killua is still fighting—and so are we—but we can’t do this alone anymore. We’re humbly asking for your support, no matter how small. Every donation will go directly toward Killua’s medical care, tests, and potential hospitalisation.
Please help us give Killua a chance to breathe easy again and feel safe, warm, and loved. If you can’t donate, even sharing this page could help us reach someone who can.
Thank you so much for reading, supporting, and keeping Killua in your hearts♥️
