Emergency Vet Care Needed for Mama Jazzy & Surviving Kittens

Donation protected
Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but my heart is breaking and I need help.

Our mama cat, Jazzy, recently gave birth, and we’ve already lost two kittens to a fast-moving respiratory infection. Watching them fade despite trying everything absolutely shattered me. I can’t bear to lose another one.

One of the remaining babies—just a little over 2 weeks old—now has a severe eye infection. Her third eyelid is protruding, and the infection has progressed rapidly. This is exactly how the others started before we lost them, and I’m terrified we’re running out of time.

On top of that, Jazzy herself is injured. She appears to have ripped out a nail or possibly ripped off her toe, I’m not sure I just know that I see bone. I’ve cleaned and treated it with betadine and bandages, but it requires immediate veterinary care, as she is limping and not eating. The great concern is that there could be bone exposure.

There are also two more kittens from my other cat’s litter who have begun showing a mild eye infection—and I’m scared it will escalate the same way, because the others progressed within hours.

I’m asking for help to cover:
• Emergency vet visits
• Eye infection treatment and antibiotics/surgery for babies
• Possible surgery or wound care for Jazzy
• Medications for the remaining kittens and respiratory care
• Follow-up care to prevent more losses

Every dollar goes directly toward saving lives. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser could make all the difference.

I’ve already lost two babies, and I’m fighting with everything I have to save the ones still here. Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping us through this heartbreak.

With gratitude,
Natalie

This happened within minutes. I have been carefully cleaning their eyes, but the underlying respiratory infection is what is most concerning. This is the same illness that has already taken two of these beautiful, sweet babies.
After applying betadine today, I noticed what may be bone exposure. The photo above shows when I first noticed Jazzy limping last night. After researching emergency care, I soaked the paw in salt water to clean it, then purchased betadine, Epsom salt, and gauze this morning to keep it clean and protected until she can be seen by a vet.

What is especially concerning is that Jazzy is not eating and is sleeping most of the time, and the remaining kittens are doing the same — which is why urgent veterinary care is needed.
Thank you again for reading and caring to share
