My name is Emily, and I am seeking the support of all my friends, family, and community as a tragedy struck our family yesterday (7/5/25). Our family cat, Loki, who is very much loved by myself, my husband, and our children, was exhibiting the strangest behavior and crying out in pain in the long hours of the evening. Becoming extremely distressed, we rushed him to the nearest emergency vet, where we were informed he had a severe blockage and needed emergency surgery to save his life or put him down. Mind you, our cat is a youthful 2 years old and has so many more years to spend with his family. Having to make this choice is something I wish no one has to experience. Unfortunately, this has been devastating to our family financially. We know times are hard, but hopefully, with help, we can recover from this and bring our big guy home
