I am in urgent need of help for a beautiful dog I found on the side of highway 589. I work for Lifeguard ambulance in Sumrall, MS, but live in Bay St. Louis, MS, and travel for 24-hour shifts. Yesterday morning around 6:30, I saw a car pull over and a dog chasing after it. When I returned the next day at 7:30, I found the same dog lying on the side of the road, clearly injured and alone. He limped over to me, and I could see his right front leg looked broken. Despite his pain, he was incredibly sweet and let me pick him up and put him in my car.

I have tried everything I can to get him help. I do not have the financial means to take him to an emergency veterinary hospital, and I even applied for Care Credit but was denied. It breaks my heart to see him in pain, and I cannot turn him back out on the road. Being Sunday has made it even harder to find assistance, and I am overwhelmed and in tears because I want to do the right thing for him.

The funds raised will go directly toward emergency medical care for his broken leg—covering vet visits, surgery, medication, and anything else he needs to recover. Erin's sanctuary is taking this sweet boy in for medical treatment and foster care. They will in the end find a forever home for this fur baby. I want to thank everyone who has donated.
