Emergency Vet Care for Fifi – Please Help Save My Boy
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sharmin, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for help.
Fifi is soon to be 3 years old. He has been my entire world since he came to my life 2.5 years back— my child, my emotional support, and my reason to get through some of the hardest days. Fifi follows me from room to room just to be close. He curls up beside me every night. He is not just a pet — he is my family.
Over the past year, Fifi has faced multiple health challenges including a surgery. I’ve quietly managed everything alone — emotionally, financially — doing everything in my power to make sure he stayed safe and loved. But now, I’m helpless.
Fifi suddenly fell critically ill. He stopped eating, stopped peeing, and became lethargic. I rushed him to the emergency vet, where he was immediately hospitalized. He has been diagnosed with pancreatitis, a very painful and potentially life-threatening condition. He is currently on supportive care such as IV fluids and pain medications, being prepared for a surgery. It needs to be done urgently to save his life.
The cost of his emergency care has already crossed $7,400, with a $5,500 bill in just today. I am a full-time PhD student, living alone in Canada without family support. I’ve exhausted all I had — but I can’t give up on Fifi.
Please, I am begging — if you can help in any way, please do.
I have launched a fundraiser to raise $10,000 urgently to cover Fifi’s emergency care. Every dollar matters. Even $5 could help save his life. If you cannot donate, please share this — it would mean the world to me.
Fifi is fighting. I am fighting. But we need you with us.
Please, please help us.
