I am a single mom who can not stay indiferrent to animal suffering. I've save many cats, kittens and dogs that were abused, neglected, and abandoned. I spend a lot of my time and money, trying to help as much as I can. Rescue is not just picking them up off the street, it is also vaccinating, neutering/spaying, treating various health issues, and finding fosters/adopters in addition to buying supplies and medicine. But they are so worth it.

Bu then there are emergencies. A few days ago, someone posted about a cat in need. In the middle of the night, I went to rescue him. I brought him to VEG on Ralph Ave, but they wouldn’t let us keep him because he had a microchip. Unfortunately, the owner never called back, and VEG refused to release him to us.

We fought hard—calling and emailing anyone we could. After three long days, we were finally able to get him back.

We placed him in a foster home, but quickly realized he wasn’t doing well. We had no choice but to rush him to an emergency vet.

The good news is that he can make a full recovery—but the cost is more than we can handle on our own.

I’m asking from the bottom of my heart: if you can spare even $5, it would make a huge difference. I’ve attached the vet bill, screen shot of original post and his photos. You can even call the vet to confirm his case.

Please, help us save him. He is super friendly and relaxed. He's been through so much!
