Emergency Vet Care for Aaron's Cat, Stormy

Greetings, I'm Mr. Lobo! I make a show called Cinema Insomnia & founded a channel/studio called OSI 74. My partner in crime, editor, producer, director AARON M. LANE has been suffering from health issues like High Blood Pressure, extreme Anxiety and Depression & an injury to his eyes including a torn retina and endured multiple surgeries over the past 2 years. As a visual arts professional, this has been devastating to him and has made it very hard for us to continue what we do. We have been able to keep going and Aaron is healing - with much thanks to a little white cat named STORMY that has provided enormous emotional support for Aaron. She was given to him as a gift from one of our fans out in California this past year.

Storm & Aaron are staying with ex-wife Dixie who loves Storm to pieces. She has also received much comfort from this playful and smart cat since our separation. Stormy who is very curious got into Dixies art supplies and ate a worrisome amount of yarn. Our Vet Tech friend, Megan is telling us that we need to take her to the emergency vet...ASAP.

The big problem is we are all artists barely making it and we're lucky to still be doing our creative work. Aaron's earning potential has greatly decreased while he has been recovering. As a matter of fact, we already have separate crowdfunding for the show and the channel.

Yarn is wadded in her lower intestine & is making a sawing motion as it passes, which will probably cut through her intestines & cause her to die of sepsis.

The are saying now that surgery to remove it will be at the lowest $4912 and could be higher.

I started this GoFundMe to help my friend and collaborator pay for this unexpected emergency expense and to help ease some of the mounting stress that Aaron has to endure.

An Update from Aaron & Stormy!

"We just got back from a $500 Emergency Vet visit.

Storm got checked out and got X-Rays and she has. blockage in her lower intestine.

They wanted between $4900 & $6400 to do surgery to help her, but one of the vet techs and the girl at the counter had suggested another pet hospital that would do it for less (though still a lot), so she has an appointment for 8am tomorrow in Maryland to get this taken care of and get her fixed at the same time, since she had an appointment for that already somewhere else on Tuesday.

She's still feeling under the weather, but hopefully she'll be all better tomorrow.
