Hi, my name is Erwin, and I'm reaching out for help. It's something I wish I didn’t have to do, but I’m at a loss. There’s a beautiful, gentle tabby cat who lives outside my apartment in Los Angeles. She belonged to a kind neighbor, a Chinese Jamaican artist Adrian, who passed away. Since then, she’s been alone, surviving on the street.

She’s incredibly affectionate. She just wants to sit on your lap and be loved. But right now, she’s in rough shape. She needs vet care urgently. I want so badly to take her in and get her the help she needs, but I’m struggling financially and can’t cover the cost on my own. I’ve tried to wait and figure it out, but I can’t anymore. She needs help now.

If you can donate anything to help cover her vet care, food, and eventual rehoming, I’d be forever grateful. If you’re not in a position to give but you or someone you know might be able to take her in and give her the life she deserves, please reach out.

She deserves warmth, safety, and love. Not more time alone on the street.

Update: The bill came out to be 1.3k, it's actually not that bad, it includes all the medicaton and Chester's 3 day hospital stay

This morning, May 23 2025, Chester had a heart attack at Angelus Pet Hospital in Glendale. Should've taken him sooner, he deserved a good life. I was too late.
