Hi my name is Nicole…I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but my beloved cat stevie has recently become very unwell.

It all started when Stevie suddenly became very poorly after swallowing a ball. He needed emergency intestinal surgery to remove it, which was terrifying but thankfully successful. Just as I thought he was on the road to recovery, new complications arose — he developed fluid on his lungs, making it difficult for him to breathe.

The vets have worked tirelessly to stabilize him, and he’s already been through so much in such a short time. Between the surgery, hospital stays, medications, and emergency care, the costs have quickly reached £6,000.

He developed fluid on his lungs and had to be rushed to the vet for emergency treatment. The vets acted quickly and gave him lifesaving medication to help him breathe.

So far, I’ve paid £6,000 in vet bills to cover the emergency care, medications, and hospital stays he has needed. I have done everything I can to give him the best chance, but the costs have left me in a very difficult financial position.

stevie means the world to me — he’s family. He has been there through every up and down in my life, and I want nothing more than to give him the chance to recover and live comfortably with the treatment he needs.

I am asking for help, however big or small, towards the veterinary costs I’ve already paid. Every contribution will go directly to covering his care and easing the financial strain.
