Emergency Vet Bills for Moose

We have had Moosie for almost 5 years now. We got him from a rescue who had saved him from a kill shelter. He had been a stray in Georgia for the first few years of his life, followed by an almost year-long struggle with heart worm. He has been the sweetest, most amazing and loving dog despite everything he's been through. Recently, he became so lethargic he could barely walk, one of his eyes started bothering him, he stopped eating, he was drinking excessively and started having accidents all over the house, all of which are very unlike him. We brought him to the vet, who ran a blood test and sent us to the animal hospital. Today, we found out he had diabetes and was in diabetic ketoacidosis. The hospital is keeping him for the next three days and after that he will need insulin shots twice daily. They've given her an estimate of$3,000-5,000. My mom is already working 9 hours a day on the front lines with covid-19, and my sister and I are in school full-time but helping wherever we can. She is a single parent and I don't want her to have to handle this alone. Any donations will go directly toward his vet bill and/or insulin shots. It would mean the world to us and him. Thank you.
