Hi everyone,

Our beloved Riekes cat and mascot, Felix, was found by Sarah, injured, in one of our neighbor's front yards. He was crying and when she brought him back to the center, we found that his leg was hurt pretty badly and he needed to be taken to emergency care. For anyone who's ever had pets, you know that vet visits add up quick.

***UPDATE - Felix has ruptured his ACL and needs surgery. The estimated cost is now $6-8,000***

The estimated cost at this time is $1000 for the emergency visit, X-rays, medication, and sedation. 

He'll likely need follow up visits as well. Sarah and I are doing our best to cover the cost but any help would be greatly appreciated.
