Emergency vet bills - Fall from window

Hello,

This is Bentley, he is our very sweet and loving Saint Bernard. Bentley will be 4 years old in December but on friday 27th August he had a terrible accident. Bentley somehow managed to shove open the window of our flat and fell 25-30ft to the ground. Thankfully he only damaged his leg but the damage he did do is very serious.

Bentley has fractured his leg, dislocated his toe and ruptured his ligaments. He needs an arthrodisis surgery which we have been quoted could cost up to £5000 if he has no complications. Any money we manage to raise with this page will go directly towards Bentley’s bills and treatment to help his recovery. 

These last few days have been tough on all of us but especially Bentley. He struggles to walk so we have to carry him up and down the stairs to take him to the toilet. He can only walk very short distances to the toilet and has to take multiple breaks as he tires so quickly. We are so worried for our boy and just want him to be able to get his surgery and start his recovery and be more comfortable. 

He has already had to go back and see the vet as the supports in his first bandages split as he is such a big dog and he has an inflamed bowel due to the medications he is on which is giving him bad blood soaked diarrhea.

Despite everything he is going through he is still showing his loving sweet nature wanting pets off everyone he sees
