The cats need you, every day, emergency after emergency. I have a matching $7,500 grant!!! for Feline the Love cat rescue’s only annual fundraiser! The rescue needs your help, a 501©(3) nonprofit managed by me, Stephanie Stephens, a content strategist, journalist (including investigations), producer, voice over talent and cat expert. I'm active on the leadership committee of the Greater Los Angeles Animal Spay/Neuter Collaborative and I lobby in Sacramento for accessible spay/neuter. I've helped more than 200 cats, and their people, with Feline the Love, and I have 11 special needs cats here. Much of my work involves helping cats and their caregivers in Los Angeles neighborhoods that are not cat friendly. I often also help homeless cats move on when they have terminal medical conditions as a result of not having care. FIV and FeLV kitties are also a favorite project. I do one fundraiser a year and do not raise funds from grants. Thank you for supporting my work. An acute veterinary bill is usually $800+, while emergency care can start at $2,500 up to $10,000. A simple wellness check with labs and perhaps an X-ray is $300 - $400. Like humans, cats get sick…Thank you for your help. These are just a few of the kitties I have helped. Help me get my matching funds...
