Emergency vet bill for Snowy

Hi, my name is Heather and I’m 22 years old. I’m an animal lover and have multiple rescue animals. I woke up this morning to one of my rescue cats screaming in pain and straining to urinate. I immediately knew that he was most likely blocked which I’ve seen happen in male cats before. I rushed him to the emergency vet and they confirmed he was blocked. This means he can’t go to the bathroom which is a death sentence and he would have been dead in 3-6 days if he isn’t treated. Right off the bat the emergency vet made me pay $3000 as a down payment and the end bill will most likely be much more than this. The high end estimate is for $4000 and that’s with the minimum hospitalization to treat a blocked cat of 36 hours. They told me he could be hospitalized for several days which would more than double the $3000 bill. I am a young hard working small business owner who barely makes $3000 a month. I’m in a really bad spot now and have no idea how I will even pay my rent that is due tomorrow let alone all my other bills and expenses.
